Thurs-Tues Log (Jan. 26 to 31): Woman Robbed on Athena, Brick Thrown Through Window on Lompico Court, Break-In on Bluff Court
Shift report from the Hercules Police Department's watch commander.
Vehicle Towed: On January 26, 2012 at 9:36am an Officer located a vehicle with registration expired over six months, in the 1600 block of Sycamore. The vehicle was towed for expired registration.
Traffic Collision: On January 26, 2012 at 1:11pm Officers responded to the 3000 block of San Pablo Avenue for a collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported and a collision report was taken.
Driving without a license: On January 26, 2012 at 3:57pm an Officer stopped a 16-year-old Hercules resident in the 1500 block of Refugio Valley Road. The juvenile was cited for driving without a license and released to a parent.
Driving with a suspended license: On January 26, 2012 at 10:03pm an Officer stopped a 40-year-old Rodeo woman in the 800 block of Willow Avenue. She was cited and released for driving with a suspended license.
Residential Burglary: On January 26, 2012 at 10:07am a resident on Bluff Court reported an unknown suspect had shattered the rear bedroom window and burglarized the residence. The burglary occurred between 5:00pm and 9:50pm and items taken were a LCD TV and a digital camera. Evidence was collected on scene for processing.
Driving with a suspended license: On January 27, 2012 at 12:49am an Officer stopped a 43-year-old Martinez man in the 4200 block of San Pablo Avenue. A search of the vehicle produced a large container which had Marijuana residue inside, police said. The man was cited and released for driving with a suspended license.
Stolen Vehicle: On January 27, 2012 at 5:54am a resident in the 200 block of South Wildwood, reported an unknown suspect had stolen the victim’s white Nissan pick-up. The theft occurred between 8:00pm and time of call.
Driving with a suspended license: On January 27, 2012 at 10:06am an Officer stopped a 39-year-old El Sobrante man in the 800 block of Willow Avenue. The man was cited and released for driving with a suspended license.
Trespassing: On January 27, 2012 at 11:48am a resident, in the 100 block of Zircon, reported seeing a white male adult climbing over a rear fence of a residence. Officers responded and located an unlocked residence with evidence of trespassing.
Stolen Jewelry: On January 27, 2012 at 1:55pm a resident, in the 200 block of Shepard, reported an unknown suspect had stolen a ring from his bedroom. The resident suspects a tenant at the residence is responsible.
Vehicle Towed: On January 27, 2012 at 2:29pm an Officer located a vehicle with registration expired over six months, on Highway 4 at San Pablo Avenue. The vehicle was towed for expired registration.
Robbery: On January 27, 2012 at 8:02am a victim reported being robbed while removing items from her vehicle, parked in the 500 block of Athena. The unknown male demanded the victim’s purse. A short struggle ensued prior to the victim handing over her purse, which contained an iPhone, digital camera, and wallet. The suspect fled to a dark “boxy” vehicle and left the area.
Driving with a suspended license: On January 27, 2012 at 9:08pm an Officer stopped a 26-year-old Rodeo man in the 4000 block of San Pablo Avenue. The man was cited and released for driving with a suspended license.
Warrant Arrest: On January 28, 2012 at 12:13am an Officer stopped a vehicle with three occupants in the 800 block of Willow Avenue. A passenger was identified as a 29-year-old man of Galt. He had an arrest warrant for dangerous drugs from Louisiana. He was arrested and transported to Martinez Detention Facility pending extradition to Louisiana. Another passenger, a 58-year-old Antioch woman, was determined to be on parole for murder. She was searched and released.
Driving without a license: On January 28, 2012 at 3:38am an Officer stopped a 46-year-old Rodeo woman in the 800 block of Willow Avenue. The woman was cited and released for driving without a license.
Stolen Vehicle: On January 28, 2012 at 7:18am a resident, in the 1200 block of Willow, reported an unknown suspect had stolen the victim’s red Honda Civic. The theft occurred between 10:00pm and time of call.
Driving without a license: On January 28, 2012 at 8:17pm an Officer stopped a 35-year-old Richmond man in the 800 block of Willow Avenue. He was cited and released for driving without a license.
Driving with a suspended license: On January 28, 2012 at 8:46pm an Officer stopped a 64-year-old Richmond man in the 1300 block of Willow Avenue. The man was cited and released for driving with a suspended license At 9:24, he was see driving again in the 800 block of Willow Avenue. He was stopped and issued another citation for driving with a suspended license.
Driving with a suspended license/Fraudulent Registration: On January 28, 2012 at 11:50pm an Officer stopped a 25-year-old Hercules woman in the 1500 block of Sycamore Avenue. The registration was expired and the registration tab belonged to another vehicle. The woman was cited and released for driving with a suspended license. The vehicle was towed for expired and fraudulent registration.
Driving under the influence of alcohol/Resisting arrest: On January 29, 2012 at 12:28am an Officer stopped a 40-year-old Rodeo man as he left the 800 block of Willow Avenue. The man refused to comply with orders to comply with Officers, police said. He was arrested for resisting arrest and suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. During a vehicle search, an excess of 50 grams of marijuana was located, police said. The man was transported to Martinez Detention Facility after a blood sample was taken.
Driving with a suspended license: On January 29, 2012 at 9:14pm an Officer stopped a 28-year-old Richmond woman in the 800 block of Vaqueros Avenue. She was cited and released for driving without a license.
Driving with a suspended license/Warrant Arrest: On January 30, 2012 at 1:03am an Officer stopped a 26-year-old Antioch woman in the 600 block of 7th Avenue. The woman was cited and released for driving without a license. A passenger had a forgery warrant for her arrest. The woman was arrested and transported to Martinez Detention Facility.
Vehicle Towed: On January 30, 2012 at 3:26am an Officer located a vehicle with registration expired over six months in the 800 block of Willow Avenue. The vehicle was towed for expired registration.
Traffic Collision: On January 30, 2012 at 8:41am Officers responded to the 2000 block of Refugio Valley Road for a vehicle collision involving four cars. Medical assistance was requested for complaint of pain, but no other injuries were noted.
Identity Theft: On January 30, 2012 at 5:13pm a resident in the 100 block of Pepperwood called to report possible theft of mail. It was determined an unknown subject attempted to make changes to the victim’s credit account and order a new credit card.
Driving with a suspended license: On January 30, 2012 at 9:48pm an Officer stopped a 54-year-old San Pablo man in the 4000 block of San Pablo Avenue. The man was issued a citation for driving with a suspended license and released.
Warrant Arrest: On January 30, 2012 at 10:56pm Officers contacted a 43-year-old Rodeo man in the 800 block of Willow Avenue. He was determined to have a parole warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and transported to Martinez Detention Facility.
Warrant Arrest: On January 30, 2012 at 10:59pm an Officer stopped a 32-year-old Martinez man in the 4000 block of San Pablo Avenue. He was determined to have a warrant for his arrest for possessing dangerous weapons. The man also had a suspended license for which he was issued a citation. He was arrested for the warrant and transported to Martinez Detention Facility.
Expired registration tow: On January 31, 2012 at 3:09am an Officer located a vehicle with registration expired over six months, in the 200 block of Lilac Circle. The vehicle was towed for the expired registration.
Driving with an expired license: On January 31, 2012 at 5:50pm an Officer stopped a 22-year-old Hercules man in the 3000 block of San Pablo Avenue. The man was issued a citation for driving with an expired license and released.
Attempted Residential Burglary: On January 31, 2012 at 12:24pm a resident in the 100 block of South Wildwood reported seeing four suspicious males. Officers arrived on scene and observed one male walk away from Officers from in front of a residence. Shortly after the first subject walked away three other males ran from a walkway used to access two residences. 20 year old Dameessii Rutherford, of San Pablo, was immediately detained by Officers. Three suspects fled on foot from police. With a coordinated effort of Hercules Police Department, Pinole Police Department, and helicopter support from East Bay Regional Parks District the three suspectss were arrested hiding together under a bush to the rear of the 200 block of Ben Lomond. Arrested were two juveniles and 19 year old Kwame Miles, of Fairfield. In the area from where the suspects ran from Police, evidence was located showing the suspects attempted forced entry into the residence. Both adults were booked into Martinez Detention Facility and the juveniles were booked into Juvenile Hall.
Dameesii Rutherford and one of the juveniles had also been arrested together in December 2012 for possessing a stolen motorcycle.
Theft from unlocked vehicle: On January 31, 2012 at 5:45pm a resident in the 1000 block of Lantern Bay reported items stolen from their unlocked vehicle, between 6:00pm on January 30, 2012 and 11:00am on January 31, 2012. Items taken include two DVD players, sunglasses, and a pouch containing change.
Vandalism/Violation of Court Order: On January 31, 2012 at 10:51pm a resident on Lompico Court reported his ex-wife, a 34-year-old Richmond woman, threw a brick through the resident’s front window. The resident has a restraining order against his ex-wife, which prohibited her from harassing the him. The woman was gone upon arrival of Officers.
Solicitor Fraud: On January 31, 2012 at 11:32pm a resident in the 2000 block of Tsushima reported being a victim of theft. A phone solicitor sold the resident DISH network service and charged to the resident’s credit card. The resident later contacted DISH network and determined the company had no involvement with the transaction. The credit card transaction was canceled with the credit card company.
Driving with a suspended license: On February 1, 2012 at 12:04am an Officer stopped a 57-year-old San Pablo woman in the 600 block of Parker Avenue. She was issued a citation for driving with a suspended license and released.
