Tuesday Log (2-21): Crime on Brighton, Mental Health Evaluation, Drunk in Public
Shift report from the Hercules Police Department's watch commander.
Warrant Arrest: On February 21, 2012 at 9:47 a.m. an Officer stopped a 23-year-old Concord on SR4 at Franklin Canyon Road. It was determined he had a warrant for his arrest. The man was released on scene with a citation for his warrant.
Residential Burglary: On February 21, 2012 at 2:02 p.m. a resident in the 100 block of Brighton reported that an unknown suspect burglarized the residence during the day. Items taken during the burglary include two safes with a large amount of cash, jewelry, and keys to four motorcycles in the garage. Per a neighborhood check, neighbors across the street saw a dark green, American made, 2-door vehicle backed up in the driveway at an unknown time in the morning.
Mental Health Evaluation: On February 21, 2012 at 7:05 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Valley run for a subject making threats toward family members. The subject had not been taking prescribed medication for psychiatric issues. Officer determined there were mental health concerns and sent the subject for a mental health evaluation.
Drunk in Public/Probation Violation: On February 21, 2012 at 10:31 p.m. an Officer contacted a 45-year-old transient man in the 4000 block of San Pablo Avenue. During the stopped, it was determined that he was intoxicated, police said. He was also on probation for elder abuse, police said. He was arrested and transported to Martinez Detention Facility.
Driving Without a License: On February 22, 2012 at 3:06 a.m. an Officer stopped a 44-year-old man the 4000 block of San Pablo Avenue. The man was issued a citation for driving without a license and released
