Tuesday Log (2-7): Blight on Azalea, Vandalism on Oxford
Shift report from the Hercules Police Department's watch commander.
Vandalism: On February 7, 2012 at 8:38 a.m. a resident in the 100 block of Oxford called to report vandalism to his vehicle. An unknown suspect affixed painter’s tape to the driver’s side window and broke a fist sized hole into the window. The damage occurred between 10:00 p.m. and time of call.
Driving With a Suspended License: On February 7, 2012 at 9:12 a.m. an Officer stopped a 19-year-old Hercules man in the 4200 block of San Pablo Avenue. He was cited for driving with a suspended license and released.
Driving Without a License: On February 7, 2012 at 9:29 p.m. an Officer stopped a 23-year-old Concord man in the 1200 block of Willow Avenue. He was cited for driving without a license and released.
Driving With a Suspended License/Parole Search: On February 7, 2012 at 11:41 p.m. an Officer stopped a 23-year-old Oakland male driver in the 800 block of Willow Avenue. The man and his passenger, a 22-year-old man, were determined to be on parole for burglary. After a parole search was conducted, the driver was cited for driving with a suspended license and released.
Warrant Arrest: On February 8, 2012 at 1:41 a.m. an Officer contacted a 38-year-old Rodeo woman in the 4000 block of San Pablo Avenue. She was arrested for an arrest warrant for assault with a deadly weapon and was transported to Martinez Detention Facility.
Expired Registration Vehicles Towed: On February 8, 2012 at 2:44 a.m. an Officer responded to Azalea Court regarding ongoing complaints of neighborhood blight. Two vehicles were towed for expired registration. Other vehicles were issued parking citations for Hercules Municipal Code violations.
