Weekend Log (1-19 to 1-23): Man Robs Burger King with Shotgun, Woman Pepper Sprays Boyfriend, Home Break-In on Ben Lomond

Petty Theft: On January 19, 2012 at 11:07am a resident in the 500 block of Silver Maple reported a theft of a Chinese display from the front of the residence. The theft occurred sometime during the night.
Residential Burglary: On January 19, 2012 at 12:43pm a resident in the 200 block of Ben Lomond returned home, from being gone for 45 minutes, to find their residence had been burglarized. Entry appears to have been made through a downstairs window. Items taken include a computer monitor, jewelry, and a digital camera.
Driving with a suspended license: On January 19, 2012 at 2:26pm an officer stopped a 30-year-old Martinez man in the 800 block of Willow Avenue. He was cited for driving with a suspended license.
Runaway Juveniles: On January 19, 2012 at 6:39pm a youth group home, in the 100 block of Hawk, reported two juvenile were absent without permission. The juvenile were entered into the missing persons system and removed, when the juvenile returned at 8:15 pm.
Warrant Arrest: On January 19, 2012 at 9:30pm officers contacted a 41-year-old Hercules man in the 700 block of Turquoise. The man had a DUI warrant for his arrest and was released with a citation.
Armed Robbery: On January 19, 2012 at 5:35pm a restaurant in the 800 block of Willow Avenue was robbed by gun point. A lone gunman entered the restaurant armed with a shotgun and jumped over the service counter and stole money from the cash registers. The suspect then fled the restaurant to a waiting vehicle, which was occupied by two other subjects. This investigation is ongoing.
Vandalism: On January 20, 2012 at 11:46am a resident in the 200 block of Falcon reported vandalism to a vehicle. Sometime during the last week an unknown subject scratched the paint of the victim’s vehicle.
Auto Burglary: On January 21, 2012 at 5:14pm an auto burglary was reported at a business parking lot on Highway 4. An unknown suspect smashed a vehicle window to gain entry and steal a laptop computer. The theft occurred between 12:00pm and 5:00pm.
Warrant Arrest: On January 21, 2012 at 11:51pm officers contacted a 37-year-old Sacramento man in the 800 block of Willow Avenue. He had a parolee at large warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and transported to Martinez Detention Facility.
Driving with a suspended license: On January 22, 2012 at 2:30am an officer stopped a 22-year-old Rodeo resident in the 3600 block of San Pablo Avenue and was cited for driving with a suspended license.
Warrant Arrest: On January 22, 2012 at 2:47am officers stopped a 40-year-old Concord man in the 1200 block of Willow Avenue. The man had a transportation of controlled substance warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and transported to Martinez Detention Facility. He was also cited for driving with a suspended license.
Domestic Violence: On January 22, 2012 at 11:20am officers responded to the 100 block of the Paradise Apartments for a domestic disturbance. It was determined that during a child custody exchange, a 28-year-old Rodeo man struck his ex-girlfriend, who used pepper spray to defend herself, police said. During the incident, the man also kicked in the front door, police said. He was located in the area and arrested for the incident. He was transported to Martinez Detention Facility.
Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol: On January 22, 2012 at 9:37pm an officer stopped a 54-year-old Richmond man in the 4200 block of San Pablo Avenue. The man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. After submitting to a blood draw for the DUI he was released with a citation.
Driving with a suspended license: On January 23, 2012 at 2:35am an Officer stopped a 23-year-old Tracy resident in the 500 block of Parker Avenue. Osuji Goodwin was cited for driving with a suspended license.
