Friday-Monday Log (2-3 to 2-6): Family Fight on Regatta, Dumping on Sycamore, Juveniles Damage Willow Business
Shift report from the Hercules Police Department's watch commander.
Stolen Vehicle: On February 3, 2012 at 7:18 a.m. a resident in the 200 block of Titan called to report his 2006 black Lexus IS250 was stolen within the past five minutes. The victim left his car running in front of his residence while he returned into his residence. When he went back outside his car was gone. The vehicle was entered into the stolen vehicle system.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle: On February 3, 2012 at 1:10 p.m. an Officer located an unoccupied stolen vehicle (1996 Nissan Maxima) in the 1200 block of Willow Avenue. The vehicle was recovered and removed from the stolen vehicle system.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle: On February 3, 2012 at 1:38 p.m. an Officer located an unoccupied stolen vehicle (1996 Toyota Corolla) on Scotts Valley Circle. The vehicle was recovered and removed from the stolen vehicle system.
Fraud: On February 3, 2012 at 2:07 p.m. a resident in the 200 block of Scotts Valley Circle reported being a victim of fraud. An unknown suspect accessed the victim’s credit card information and took a large cash advance against the account.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle: On February 3, 2012 at 9:24 p.m. an Officer located an unoccupied stolen vehicle (1996 Honda Accord) in the 100 block of Linus Pauling. The vehicle was recovered and removed from the stolen vehicle system.
Driving Without a License: On February 3, 2012 at 11:45 p.m. an Officer stopped a 16-year-old juvenile, of Hercules, in the 3000 block of San Pablo Avenue. The juvenile was cited and released to a parent.
Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol: On February 4, 2012 at 2:22 a.m. an Officer stopped a 21-year-old Hercules resident in the 4000 block of San Pablo Avenue. The resident was arrested on suspicion of DUI and released with a citation after submitting to a blood draw.
Driving While Possessing Marijuana: On February 4, 2012 at 2:51p.m. an Officer stopped an 18-year-old Antelope man in the 1000 block of Sycamore Avenue. A vehicle search was conducted and the man was released with a citation for possessing Marijuana while driving, police said.
Driving With a Suspended License: On February 4, 2012 at 8:18 p.m. an Officer stopped a 33-year-old San Leandro man in the 600 block of Parker Avenue. The man was cited for driving with a suspended license and released.
Driving With a Suspended License: On February 4, 2012 at 10:53 p.m. an Officer stopped a 45-year-old Hercules woman in the 800 block of Willow Avenue. The woman was cited for driving with a suspended license and released.
Vandalism: On February 5, 2012 at 1:06 a.m. a business in the 800 block of Willow Avenue juveniles attending a party at the business damaged the interior walls. A specific responsible was not identified by the reporting party.
Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol: On February 5, 2012 at 2:28 a.m. an Officer stopped a 41-year-old Hercules man in the 4000 block of San Pablo Avenue. The man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and released with a citation after submitting to a breath test.
Driving With a Suspended License: On February 5, 2012 at 3:48 a.m. an Officer stopped a 45-year-old Rodeo resident in the 800 block of Willow Avenue. The resident submitted to a burglary parole search, was cited for driving with a suspended license and released.
Battery: On February 5, 2012 at 8:27 p.m. Officers responded to the 1000 block of Regatta Point for a family fight. The physical fight involved sister-in-laws who live at the residence, but prosecution was not desired.
Possess Drug Paraphernalia: On February 5, 2012 at 11:32 p.m. an Officer contacted a 24-year-old Rodeo man walking in the area of Country Run. During a search of the man, a methamphetamine glass pipe was located, police said. The man was released with a citation after being booked at Hercules Police Department.
Expired Registration Vehicle Towed: On February 6, 2012 at 3:06 a.m. an Officer located a parked vehicle with expired registration on Thrush Court. The vehicle was towed.
Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol: On February 6, 2012 at 7:49 p.m. an Officer stopped a 55-year-old Hercules man in the 1500 block of Sycamore Avenue. The man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility after a blood sample was taken.
Illegal Dumping: On February 6, 2012 at 10:19 p.m. an Officer conducted a check on a suspicious Penske rental truck stopped on the side of the Sycamore Avenue near Palm. Two Stockton men, a 19-year-old and a 23-year-old, were contacted and determined to be delivery contractors for Mancini’s Sleep World. It was determined they had dumped cardboard, plastic, Styrofoam, and a bed frame on the side of the roadway, police said. Both were issued citations for illegal dumping and released after they cleaned up the debris.
Driving With an Expired License: On February 7, 2012 at 2:01 a.m. an Officer stopped a 50-year-old Richmond man in the 800 block of Vaqueros. He was cited for driving with an expired license and released.
