How to build out the city should not be about how to get another dozen or so riders to the ITC. The iTC is only a piece of the puzzle. City Planning cannot and should not be reduced to reviewing the use of a single parcel of land. City Planning is certainly not a matter of bowing to the will of a single developer that is just trying to get the best deal posible for his own sake.   more ›

I'm happy with the positive progress regarding the ITC and Waterfront. There has been great support from the Council and City Manager Duran and even Deputy City Manager Warmerdam on this of late. I hope we finally begin seeing some action as the Phase 1 effort, all infra-structure, begins.   more ›

I am so jaded now. The only thing I want to hear about is getting that tax increment to where it should be which is way more than 7% since we are in a financial meltdown. I don't want to hear about selling properties for projects we don't want. Stop the fire sales and wait out the market. Get the tax increment. Period.   more ›
