Letter to the Editor: Councilman Romero Giving Thanks

Councilman Dan Romero writes in to give thanks around the holidays.

-By Dan Romero, Hercules City Councilman I am thankful for my wonderful wife of 27 years, my two daughters, and all of my business clients.  I give thanks to all the supportive residents of Hercules who supported a different view of life in our city.  That view was the recall of officials in Hercules last February and the election of three new members to the City Council.  I am thankful for the employees of Hercules who have stayed true to their jobs and continued to give excellent service.  I am thankful for the committees that helped the process of interviewing new applicants for City Attorney and City Manager.  I am thankful for the consultant that has negotiated a possible deal for the Waterfront and for Jim Anderson’s patience with …
